Welcome! This website/blog is for my trimester 1 final review on the play “Oedipus Rex” by Sophocles. There are three pages on this site; Aristotle’s three unities explains Aristotle’s theory about what makes a perfect tragedy and how that concept coincides with Oedipus Rex. What Oedipus Rex tells us about the ancient Greeks is just that, what we can learn about ancient Greek culture through reading Oedipus Rex. Lastly, The roots of modern theater explains how theater started in the greek culture.
